From the Principal

Welcome to our school, a place of learning, creativity and excitement.

Nazareth school is situated in the heart of Grovedale and has been part of the community since 1979. During this time it has grown to be a vibrant and active part of the Parish.

In 2018, we reviewed our school vision and mission and re-energised our motto to, ‘Let all you do be done in

love’ (Corinthians 16:14). This motto recognises that love binds human beings together but also challenges them to be more human (Laudato Si, Pope Francis). It is with this in mind that we work in partnership with our parents, to bring a full flourishin

g of life to our students. A continuing journey, in the development of their relationship with God, is central to Nazareth. A lived faith, where making a difference in our world is enacted, underpins our call to mission.

We believe that all students are capable, and as a result our curriculum, begins with the child and finding out about each individual, beginning to know and understand who they are. The natural curiosity, wonder about the world and development of relationships, are foundations to their learning journey.

Strengthening parent, teacher, student and parish relationships are a focus for all at Nazareth. It is through these strong relationships that we can develop our students to be ‘more than their best’, in their relationship with self, others, their world and their God.

We would encourage you to book a personal tour to find out more about us, and to see us in our daily activity.
